Who is Jack Shriner? A singer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter originally from Milwaukee and now living in Seattle. Jack self-released his first solo album, For Here Or To Go, in 2004. A Tour of Brief Reunions once again features Jack performing most of the instruments on the album, this time receiving drumming assistance from East Coast jazz-based artist Dave Flaherty, with guest appearances from friends and family. The album was recorded onto 2-inch tape by the enthusiastic Chicago indie luminary Brian Zieske at his Gallery of Carpet studio. For Jack, this is an expanded sound that melds a wide range of influences into an urgent and cohesive work.
